OOA Annual Business Meeting – Oct. 16th

The Ohio Optometric Association will hold its annual business meeting, OOA Congress, on Friday morning, October 16, 2026, during the EastWest Eye Conference* in Columbus, OH. All members are encouraged to attend.

The Congress meeting will include reports from the AOA, AOA-PAC, iSee Ohio, the OOPAC, and on general OOA affairs, including Finances and the 2027 Budget. Members will also hear and decide on a Resolution presented by the OOA Board and Finance Committee regarding dues adjustment.  

Finally, the meeting will include the election of the 2027 OOA Board of Directors. This will be a contested election for the four open Trustee seats. Sitting Trustees, Dr. Katherine Fisher, Dr. Katie Greiner, and Dr. William Kegerize, will each seek re-election. Rounding out the candidates for Trustee are three members who seek election for the first time: Dr. Nick Flebotte, Dr. Cory Lappin, and Dr. KJ Shaheen.

All members are highly encouraged to attend Congress to support their candidates of choice for 2027 leadership.
