OVP Award Winners Announced  

The Ohio Vision Project (OVP) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Student Loan Repayment program. This year, 28 doctors of optometry submitted competitive applications showcasing a wide range of pro bono care and volunteerism in their communities. OVP utilizes a blind-scoring methodology to determine the winners. This year, five applicants elevated their score by going above and beyond in several categories.   

Combined, the recipients selected this year donated hundreds of hours of their time in 2023 supporting local non-profits and community organizations. In addition to supporting their local communities, each award recipient provided care to Medicaid patients, is an InfantSEE provider, and volunteered for the Realeyes program.  

The Ohio Vision Project thanks all of those who applied for their commitment to the profession and for their service to their communities. Please join us in congratulating this year’s winners (in alphabetical order):
