iSee Ohio 2024-2025 School Year Recap
The mission of iSee Ohio is to help children reach their full potential by improving access to quality, comprehensive eye care in their communities...because every child deserves to see.
To fulfill that mission, iSee Ohio operates school-based vision clinics across the state for students who might not otherwise receive care.
iSee Ohio had an active year, setting up three times the number of clinics during the 2024-2025 school year as the previous year. These clinics would not be possible without a volunteer doctor, so thank you so much for your willingness to serve the community!
Because of 63 volunteer Ohio ODs, we:
- Completed 62 iSee Ohio clinics
- Reached 26 counties
- Performed 950 exams
- Prescribed 763 glasses
- Detected 101 students with amblyopia
Reflecting on the past year, we are proud of the accomplishments we have achieved together. As the demand for clinics continues to grow, we have added staff to our team with the plan to increase our capacity to meet the requests as resources allow. The number one need is volunteer ODs which is why we are so grateful for those of you who give your time.
