EastWest Online University is Now Open! 

The Ohio Optometric Association’s new online education platform is open! EastWest Online University is live. Start your subscription and enroll today by clicking the link below or by visiting www.eastwesteye.org.   

Featuring Drs. Lighthizer, Lonsberry, and Schweitzer, EastWest Online University features 10 hours of Ohio approved continuing education at a discounted rate for OOA members. Learn at your convenience about topics such as “Oral Pharmaceuticals in Anterior Segment Disease,” “Diagnosing and Managing Ocular Emergencies,” and “Current Trends in Keratoconus Management.” 

OOA members can access 10 hours of top-quality online CE at the special rate of just $150. The platform is available to non-members at $300 for 10 hours.

Once you enroll, follow these steps upon the completion of each course:  

• Upon completion of each course, you will need to pass a quiz and answer survey questions. 
  • You will have four attempts to pass. 
  • A score of 70% or higher is needed to pass. 

• Once passed, download and sign the CE certificate. 

• Upload your CE certificate to ARBO OE Tracker as non-COPE approved asynchronous education. 
  
  • The event sponsor is the Ohio Optometric Association. 
  • ARBO will notify you once they have added the certificate to your CE listing. 

The Ohio Optometric Association is not responsible for tracking or turning in your CE hours. 

EastWest Online University will refresh each year offering a NEW grouping of courses totaling 10 hours from top speakers from around the country.  

EastWest Online University is a subscription-based platform, and your card will be charged again automatically on January 2, 2026.
